Anybody Hear Tebow on ESPN?

He said it is gratifying to mentioned as a candidate for the Heisman, but said "my goal is to help my team get into the SEC Championship Game".
Now...I'm just an ole country boy,born in the mountains of Cocke County, but can the VN help me understand how he proposes to do that????????????

Well, UF has done all that they can do this year....maybe he's a witch doctor and has a smokey voodoo doll...

Geez, cut the guy a break. He's just trying to turn attention away from himself and back to the team. Quit with the jealousy already and just admit the guy can play the game.

Georgia and Tennessee will both have to lose and then they need to have a higher BCS rating. Its possible but not very likely to happen.

I will agree with that. The kid can play the game. I dont care for the team but Tebow can play.

I don't care for the team, and man is that team going to be screwed once t-bone gets hurt or leaves.

i dont think it's jealousy as much as it is him being good and being a gator. hell, him being a gator is really enough.
and for us TN fans, it is a lot to stomach the "Superman" theme about the kid all the time.

but i don't think anyone doesn't think it's deserved. he is good.

Regardless, he didn't think before he spoke. He was trying to be the team leader, which I can respect, but it shows how robotic he was for that moment.

I hate The Florida Gators.

I respect Timmy Tebow's talent and ability, but his girly crying at the end of the LSU game made me laugh.

I personally think Tebow deserves the Heisman, just thought it was funny he thought he could still help his team get to Atlanta, nothing more, nothing less.

He didn't say it was his goal to get into the 2007 SEC Championship game. May be he was talking about next year's SEC championship game.

bro', have you seen the way they're recruiting. Their backup qb could have gone anywhere in the nation he wanted to go. I think his dad was a MLB pitcher. They are stocked for a little while to come. Tebows great, but when he leaves dont look for a drop off. My hope is that FSU & UM will rise up and start making it harder for Meyer to cherry pick the in state talent.
