The alumni association used to meet at a hotel bar near the bay.

There is an alumni group in Tampa. “University of Tennessee Volunteers in Tampa Bay” on Facebook. They watch games at the Bilmar Station, 8501 W. Hillsborough Ave, Tampa.

Best bar in Tampa is Hattricks. Just look them up on IG you will know immediately why its the best. Great atmosphere. I have no clue on alumni. Although you will not be disappointed.

I live in Bradenton, but will be staycationing in Maderia Beach next weekend and was thinking about looking into this as well. May end up at Bilmar, depending on plans.

Just FYI, it's about hour to hour 10 minute drive but it is a really good time to be around a bunch of other Vols

Spot on about Hattricks. We go there before Lightning games. Love the bacon cheese fries and italian egg rolls.

I am not an alumni, but my step father was, which is how I became a fan. Do they meet anywhere local to watch games? I typically have a few friends over every weekend, but some of the bigger games, it would be fun to be around other Vol fans.

Side note, I ended up at Joyland after the Bama game, in my overalls and waving my Power T flag in the middle of the dance floor. So, I can get pretty passionate! lol
