Confession. I remember hat saying that Cleveland State would be a tough draw for someone in the first round. With that in mind, I decided to take a chance on them against Wake (although not on my VN bracket, unfortunately) in a couple of my brackets. I even went crazy and put them in the Sweet 16 in one.

That, and I just got done reading "Season on the Brink" and I wondered if history would repeat itself.

When Cedric Jackson is on and is not a turnover machine like he can be, they are tough to beat. Their pressure defense is outstanding and they cause a ton of turnovers because of it. The Horizon League Championship game against Butler was a great example. Defense was top notch, offense struggled but got victory. Very experienced, also.
