and find yourself watching a 7, 10, or 15 yd rush and thinking "touchdown, touchdown, yep that woulda been another touchdown" if UT was on defense?
I can't count the number of plays by either team that caused me to think, "we simply have ZERO players in the defensive backfield who possess the speed to have chased the ball carrier down and/or made that tackle." The closing speed on those two D's is incredible.

AV
PS. Take special note of the 4(!) Bama players who were gaining on LSU's long kick return.

I counted nfl draft picks and watched their lbs and safeties make tackles where we wouldn't or can't. Also heard them say 31 players from their game 2 years ago have been drafted.

I was watching and thinking Tn use the be a headliner game and use to be the physical team on off. and def. Now Tn teams resembles a bad FCS , always looks smaller than Bama, UGA, LSU

No, I just watched the game hoping, in vain, that LSU would knock off Alabama. Now I have to hope for Auburn to do the trick because I don't think Mizzou or SCjr can hang with them.

bama and lsu sign top five classes every year, over the past four years auburn has finished 8th,10th,7th, and 4th.

Tennessee's last four classes were ranked 21st 17th,13th and 9th (dooley's 2010 class).

And I'm pretty sure we've had much more attrition. Otherwise we wouldn't have so many walk-ons playing.

Its sad to say but your right. We use to look like those teams. We really didn't know how good we had it

I saw 2 teams (especially Bama) that know how to tackle. Thats what bothered me. If a Bama defender could get a hand on an LSU player they were going down. We seem to slide right off players.
