Where is everybody watching the game?

I mean, you always find UT football fans watching the Big Orange anywhere in town on game day. But is there a sportsbar where mostly Vols basketball fans congregate?

I want to be around Vols fans for this one, and I don't want to be around a bunch of schmoes who are rooting against the Vols because their team (cough, cough, Vandy) went out so unfashionably.

Thoughts?

If there isn't a spot, should we pick a spot and take it over?

So far me and a couple of my friends are going to Time Out. It's a sport bar in Brentwood. It's real close to Nippers Corner. They have free beer on Friday's from 5-8. Lot's of TV's and Big projector screen.

I will be in Franklin (Williamson County) coaching for an AAU tournament this weekend. Any suggestions on where to watch the game?

I'm usually on the eastside...the Edgefield has a kick-your-butt good burger and has a surprisingly good big-screen TV atmosphere. But it gets too smoky and not sure there will be many Vols. Beyond the Edge and Three Crows get a mixed crowd of Vols and non Vols.

I guess my main goal is this: I don't want to sit and hear mouth from a guy wearing a brand-new Ohio State basketball jersey, but who also has a brand-new Alabama car flag and warm-up suit. All from Wal-Mart.

Excellent 5-star sports bar near Cool Springs called the Athletic Club. It's in the Embassy Suites. It's a very good place to see a game, and I might go there if there isn't a designated Vols location. Usually a good crowd of Vols fans for football. I love that place.
