Anyone been down the Occoee?

My wife and I, my brother and sister-in-law, and sister and brother-in-law are going down the Occoee next weekend.

We're doing the upper and the lower.

This will be our first time ever.

Any fans of this trip out there?

You'll have a good time. I'm not the world's biggest outdoorsman, but I did enjoy my trips down the Occoee.

Be careful and listen to your guide. It's not Disney World. Actually, the times that I went , the most danger were the bus drivers that take you to the put-in sites. They drive like maniacs down curvey roads!

Used to do a church trip there every year, it's a great time!

I used to go every year before they changed it. I haven't been since they changed everything around and re did it.

A river just outside of Cleveland, TN with good rapids. They did the '96 Olympic kayak events there.
