That Tennessee may return to the Chick Fil A kickoff game in Atlanta in 2017 to take on Georgia Tech? I had read something about it a few days ago. Also on a side note, it seems that Florida State will spank Uga in the 2016 game.

Will they push UT to a Friday night game so that can get a "better" game on Saturday?

If im not mistaken, I heard that this is the last year that they are trying to pull a doubleheader down there.

I know that the organizers have feelers out to Tennessee, Bama, Ole Miss, and Texas A&M regarding the '17 and '18 games. They've been trying to make Bama-Miami happen for years now.

This is the first I've heard of Ga Tech being involved, but UT-GT would be a pairing with a ton of Southern football tradition.

After that Air Force game in 06, I never want to play a triple option team again. Thank you again, Xavier Mitchell

The Charlotte game vs. WVU was under discussion for 2018 I believe.

EDIT to add: http://knoxblogs.com/evanseleven/2014/04/02/tennessee-west-virginia-finalizing-game-charlotte-2018-report/

Atlanta or Nashville seem like a good bet for 2017.

I would like to see one neutral site game per year in good fertile recruiting grounds like Atlanta, Charlotte, Memphis, Nashville, Bristol, TX, etc.

Agreed. Maybe alternate with a good home and home series with a west coast power. Would be great for exposure.... As long as we can be competitive...
