That LSU and Georgia will get ran out of the building?

I think they both take a pounding.

LSU rarely gets run out of the building. That being said, defending the spread isn't Chief's strong suit. Nothing would make me happier than watching Georgia get rolled.

I think both lose and although I hate the teams I don't like the SEC losing 2 big openers like that so I'm hoping they don't.

Agreed on both counts.

I took the Tigers and the Dawgs though.

The Dawgs got some big ole boys in the middle this year. If they can play, which remains to be seen, they might be better than expected. They have a 350 pound nose tackle that unless he just is a sissy will be very hard to move out of the way.

Unless Oregon lost no one and actually became a better team during the offseason, no way LSU gets blown out.

I could see Georgia losing by more than a score or two if Murray can't at least come close to matching Kellen Moore pass-for-pass.

Heck, most of the so called in the knows expect them to be pretty damn good, I'm not sold on the Dawgs being contenders but I think they'll beat Boise.

Giving Chris Peterson that much time to gameplan spells trouble for Georgia IMO.

As far as LSU is concerned, I think they will play well defensively but have little faith they will score enough.

Oregon's offense will again be at the top, they return a ton of talent.

I think UGA gets splattered and LSU gets beaten as well....Oregon is loaded and will be too much down the stretch for LSU

If lsu can put up more than 14 points they win this game. Chip has never seen a defense like this

like what? I think LSUs D will be talented, but there are question marks all over the place.

UGA should house Boise. LSU is in for a fight because they obviously have some personnel issues on O and need to control the ball.

Heard something interesting the other day:

Since Kelly became O-Coordinator for the Ducks, against top 20 nonconference teams, he averages 14 points a game or something like that.

I got the Bayou Bengals. I actually think Jarrett Lee is better than Jordan Jefferson anyways.

Georgia will get beat, go 0-2, lose to Tennessee, go 7-5, and Richt will get fired.q

Why will UGA get beat. There are only a couple positions on the field where they aren't the better team.

What has Mark Richt done in the last five years to prove he can beat Boise? I'm not a big Boise fan (I actually think TCU is a better team over the last few years), but they should beat Georgia.

He has struggled the last 5 years because he let his defense go to hell. Presumably, he is in the process of addressing that. If he has addressed it at all, they will house Boise. They are a much more athletic football team.

Plus, I don't UGA's is as good as some people think. I believe Boise will be able to throw the ball around.

I don't think UGA is very good on offense because of attrition, but I do think they'll be athletic as hell.

I still don't think it's fixed.

They lost their best player. Have no run game to speak of. I won't be "shocked" if UGA wins, but i'll be surprised.

I didn't say it's fixed. I said it's likely getting better.

I don't buy the run game piece against a team like Boise. Will they run it on AL, no. Will they smash it on Boise, yes.
