I&#39;m sorry, I can&#39;t see myself rallying around an elephant crying or yelling or snorting or whatever the hell it is they do.

They are both dumb and annoying as hell. I&#39;d take hearing Rocky Top 8,000 times anyday over that crap.

If you think about it, the Elephant is perfect for Bama.

1) They remember every victory they&#39;ve ever had in excrutiating detail.

2) They remember every slight (real or perceived) - I have a friend who hates the Atlanta Journal and Constitution because some writer there said some bad things about Bama in the 60&#39;s&#33;

3) They need good memories since recent history hasn&#39;t given them much to cheer about
