Yes... I would've liked to have gotten to play N Iowa... but I KNOW we can beat Mich St if we show up

How could you not be ready when your 1 game away from the final 4? Tenn should win this game.

definitely not worried but i understand what youre saying. i just watched izzo's post game interview. he has so much experience being at this stage that msu will be ready to play. bruce pearl can use that and the lack of respect so far for the vols that they will be ready to play. i know they already made history, but i am hoping they are playing for more. :twocents:

Yeah, with our senior leadership, and the fact that this is not just "another game," we should be on a roll now. I think somebody is going to have to beat us. I hope that we don't give anything away.

MSU's biggest man is 6-6. Should make a good match up, but they can can the 3's and we don't do so good from beyond the arc. Izzo is the wild card here. Don't know about their bench, but ours was great tonight.

My heart skipped a beat when Prince blocked that last shot. I just envisioned him fouling a 3 point shooter again leading to a loss. But it was a clean block and Turner did a flop.

I believe in our seniors and don't think they will allow the team to fall flat. Our team is hungry and a trip to the elite 8 didn't satisfy that hunger their goal is a trip to the championship game and they expect nothing less. With some of the games this team has pulled out this year should we expect anything less from them? No, We all expect them to win two more and end up in the big one. Their not "just happy to be here," there here to win it all.

If you're not motivated for a chance to play in the Final 4, then theres something wrong. They'll be ready on Sunday! GO VOLS!

Getting to the Elite 8 showed maturity from this team.

Getting to the Final Four...well, I will be interested to see if they have that kind of maturity. The way that Wayne looked tonight was the look that all of them need.

It's a matter of how they view their expectations. "Well, everyone expected Elite 8...we're here! We're done." Or were they thinking "National Championship?"

I would hope the latter...but honestly...none of us were.

Yeah, I'm worried we might beat Mich State, badly. I'm worried JP Prince might get arrested after the game for abusing their defense. I'm also worried Chism might get 5-10 for attempting to murder Coach Izzo's good name with the high post catch and lay-in time after time.

The rest of the team could also be charged with robbery for taking away what Mich State will undoubtedly think is already theirs for the taking. These are the only things I'm worried about right now, and I'm sure it's the same over in St Louis with all those clad in orange.

This is not the Mich State of a few years ago, guys. We are.

Though Izzo deserves many props, I don't put stock in what Digger Phelps has to say. He's hardly ever right anyway.

I think that all sportswriters, experts, analysts, and the NCAA selection committees should be fired. It's obvious that they're terrible at what they do.
