Don't tell govols105. He thinks the direction of the program hinges on tomorrow's game. Thankfully, that's not true.

Just getting to see my Vols play is enough to make me happy.

Surely there is room between "42-14" and "Just getting to see my Vols play is enough to make me happy" ???

Shhheeessss talk about defeatist attitudes...we truly are a bruised and battered fan base.

We OWN UGA ! Hell even that S#!T Head Kiffin beat them. I know that team was better but come on !?!?

We aren't Kentucky, vandy, or any other lower tier sec team. This is Tennessee! They will rise back to the top, might as well start tomorrow!

He also thinks we will lose the game depending on whether or not he gets his #98 smokey gray jersey. He's a bright one.

OK OP, what the Hell do you think the definition of an" upset" is. Any fan NOT hoping for an upset is not a true fan, would you really rather for the Vols to lose so you can say I told you so. People predict Upsets every week, most are wrong, but every week there are upsets. So OK lets all pull for the Vols to lose so the OP can start a thread Monday titled "I told you so".

We "own" them? Richt is 8-4 against us and has won 3 in a row.

Sadly enough sounds like the article was written by some our posters here on volnation.

Also, in regards to this thread, anyone that doesn't think an upset is a possibility tomorrow, is fooling themselves. For one, Georgia is famous for underperforming during their tenure with Mark Richt. They've lost plenty of games that shouldn't have, but that's in the past.

Here's what it boils down to, if our offense can find consistency and mesh well(This includes proper QB play from Worley)then we have a perfect opportunity to win this game. We have to find our identity on offense, and while doing so, we have to protect the football.

I think our defense will perform well and force turnovers, but we can't go out and give the ball right back over to Georgia. We have to take advantage of the gifts we will receive tomorrow. If we can do that, we can win this game.

You are correct!

However; It is a good thing that App. State didn't believe that they couldn't beat Michigan.

Or U.L. Monroe didn't believe that they could beat a Nick Saban coached Alabama team.

or UAB didnt believe they could beat a Nick Saban coached LSU team.

or Wyoming believe they could beat a Phil Fulmer coached team

or Kentucky believe they could beat a Derrick Dooley coached Tennessee team.

Odd are we won't win, but Herman Edwards said "You play to win the game"

Of course everyone outside of the Tennessee fan base thinks we are going to get murdered by them.

They believe everything that ESPN tells them.

Odds are that we will probably lose tomorrow just based off the talent difference and the fact that they have position players with a lot of experience and a QB who has good mechanics and good timing.

However, who's to say that Murray doesn't get knocked out of the game in the first quarter with a concussion or something like that? I wouldn't wish for it to happen but stuff like that happens all the time in football. Look at what happened to Driskel during the Florida game.

We could pressure Murray tomorrow and rattle him early with a big sack and steal all the momentum away from them before they even get a chance to get it.

Anything is possible people, especially in college football.

The Red and Black famously kept predicting the dawgs would win during our nine game win streak. It's a good sign, frankly. :)

I find it interesting that the spread against Georgia is only 10 points, while the spread against Oregon was 28 points (and ended up being even more than that).

Ranked Team + poor QB play = tough to win..even with home field advantage.
