Conzo basically made up crap the whole time. He stated that we dont make 9 passes before we shoot. He said that would be boring to watch if they did. And thats exactly what this offense does.

i read the quotes about Maymon. Was wondering if he mentioned any kind of changes to the lineup or anything but i guess not. So curious to see what team shows up against the Shockers.

Didnt mention anything about a lineup change, just stated that they need to get the ball to Stokes more in the paint.

FIRE CUONZO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good Grief. I guess the wolves are out for him now after 2 bad games.

You same people were yelling for Pearl to be fired. OK, he was fired. Now you want to fire Cuonzo. You were screaming Fire Hamilton. OK, he is gone and you are now yelling Fire Hart. The same for Fulmer, Chavis, Dooley, Chaney......................

I agree some of them needed firing, but let's give Cuonzo, Jones, Warlick, Serrano, et al a chance to get their players in here and start winning. (Just a pre-emptive comment).

did pearl ever have two back to back games like this?

He had more than back to back games where his defense couldn't stop anybody. And his offense his last season was pretty unproductive despite the fact he had to 5* on the team.

We might not have scored in the 40's with Pearl but I remember a ton of games where he wouldn't abandon the press against teams with good guard play. I remember being lit up against UNC and Texas in early season tournaments. A loss is still a loss.

I remember getting lit up by Texas also. Then rebounded and lost only 2 other games during the regular season that year. Once to KY at Rupp and at #14 Vandy.

I think it was the legends classic.

Also, I remember the Butler game in the Garden right after being dusted by UNC. That was a low scoring affair but I don't remember exactly. Had to be in the 50's.

Butler was right before the NC game. 56 - 44. Bad night for Lofton

I also remember owning Billy D's azz. Hopefully Zo will find his whipping boy soon !

This season so far, and it's early looks more like Oneal ball than Pearl ball.
BP is gone but one thing you could bet on every season, his team would upset somebody in a game we were not supposed to win. That's gonna be hard to do scoring 37 points.
