The process is underway in such places as Lewiston, Maine; Shelbyville, Tennessee, St. Cloud, Minnesota, Clarkston,Georgia, and Jamestown, North Dakota.

Recipients, including the Muslim refugees, were allowed a generous five years of assistance before their benefits became terminated, and extensions for several additional years on the public dole were not difficult to obtain. Single parents could stay on welfare and go to college.

Public housing was also available, although, with the influx of Somalis, the housing projects became packed to capacity. Many of the new project dwellers were single Somali mothers with large broods of children. Those who are unable to obtain public housing were handed Section 8 vouchers, which the federal government provided to subsidize their rent in private apartments.

Hundreds of Somalis, including al Shabaab terrorists have been smuggled into the United States by Anthony Joseph Tracy, a native of Pennsylvania.

Tracy, who is white, converted to Islam while spending time in state prison.

In 2008, he traveled to the Horn of Africa, where he sold counterfeit documentation to Somalis who wished either to escape from their war-town country or to launch terror attacks on American soil.

Tracy was taken into custody in January by US officials and placed in a federal detention facility without parole.

According to the court testimony of Special Agent Thomas Eyre of the US Immigration and Naturalization Center (ICE), Tracy admitted to smuggling over 270 Somalis - .....- into the United States from 2008 to 2010.

Despite his admission of illegal activity, Tracy was released from custody this week. ICE has offered no explanation of its failure to pursue prosecution.

None of the Somalis whom Tracy smuggled into the U.S. have been located.

Al Shabaab, an offspring of al Qaeda, has morphed into one of the world's leading terrorist organizations.

Several mosques in Minneapolis/St. Paul have been identified as al Shabaab recruiting centers, including Hassan Mahamud Taqwa and Abubakar As-Siddique.

Special Agent Eyre and other ICE officials maintain that the Somalis, who obtained Tracy's services, were equipped with bogus bank statements and passports from Kenya which allowed them to fly to Cuba.

Upon receiving Cuban visas, the Somalis flew to Mexico and other South American countries and entered to United States over its southern border.

Some statisticians say 200,000. Others place the number at 500,000.

What remains known are the facts that over 70,000 Somalis now live in Minneapolis/St.Paul and over 40,000 in Lewiston, Maine.

What town would that be??

Several years ago I went to a music awards ceremony with a would be super star that was very enamored of the arts and he asked our Somali drivers what they thought of "Black Hawk Down."

I never even saw the movie, I got my fill of Hollywood a long time ago, it's like reading the NY or LA Slimes, once the spin is in the truth is out.

At any rate, as luck would have it, our cab there and our cab home were both manned by Somalis.

During those days nearly every cab ride I had was with a muslim, our state department certainly opened the floodgates while blocking immigration from others such as white South Africans who were in far more danger.

I would have preferred the conversations to have been on a far more personal level than my would be super star companion but their answers to his questions were a bit startling.

One of them had already been in America when the incident happened, his answer was pretty much mainstream as most of us Americans had been conditioned to accept by media, government statements and the entertainment industry but the other had still been in Somalia during Clinton's inept fiasco.

Neither seemed to me to be all that inclined toward islamic radicalism but the guy who had been there said what we had actually done was super stupid, the warlords really would rather have negotiated that been drawn into open conflict with American forces.

Of couse Clinton ignored the advice of his military men who wanted to land heavy armor that was aboard ships sitting offshore of Somalia thus insuring we would be outgunned. That wasn't stupidity on his part, it was subversion.

Bottom line was that we withdrew and al-Qaeda broadcast across the world that America didn't have the intestinal fortitude for the coming battle, then bombed our embassies in east Africa before staging the 9/11 attack.
