Anyone notice on our schedule

I want to say that we had 10 or 11 games last year on TV. I also want to say that I heard that this will be another record breaking year for regular season TV coverage across all of college baseball, so at a minimum I would guess we at least match last year.

The only games shown on the schedule for TV are our 2 SEC ESPN Thursday night games of the week, which is one more than a few teams in the SEC. Once the networks decide which games to televise, we will update the schedule. Rest assured, we will be on TV more than twice.

Does anyone know if we will have free streaming of the home games again this year?

Certain stations always release their TV schedule closer to the season. We will have many more this year on TV than last year, and will be playing a lot on SEC Network. I'd expect 15-20 this season.

Couple of notes on this subject...

Last week some of those in the know got to see a list of the college baseball games to be televised by ESPN this season...

Just saw the initial list of ESPN televised college baseball games this year, the number is unprecedented. I'm fired up to get started...

I would expect to have more games televised this year...not less.

I assume for the home games not televised that UT will stream them as they have in the past but maybe Deer Park has some info regarding this.

On a down side, wiziwig has shut down so we'll have to be on the lookout for a new free stream for road games I would think.

For those that may not be aware and slightly off topic....Kendall Rodgers (PG) and Aaron Fitt (BA) have taken their talents to d1baseball.com and that revamped site will launch on Monday, Jan. 19th.

Win and the games will be televised. I hope this year is a drastic improvement over last year.

We only have 2 tv games? This sucks.

No worries. There will be more college baseball than ever on TV. The only 2 TV games the schedule on UTSports.com is showing are the ESPNU Thursday night SEC games of the week. SEC Network will have plenty of other games to enjoy. :hi:

‏@KendallRogersD1 I was told the new #SEC TV sked is unreal “@RivalsChase: all #RebsBSB games will be available on SEC Network+ this season, per @mtjrolemiss”

I would think with the SECN, we'll have the most nationally televised games in our history. Surely come March baseball will be all over it.

That first list was only for the visible Thursday night games that have been in place for several years.

I don't like playing those games as it messes up the schedule and it may force me to miss the Thursday night game in Lexington where I was planning to spend the weekend. Now, I will likely miss a lot of time at track! It looks now like I'll only be at Keeneland on Friday afternoon.
