Anyone notice the cold postgame handshake by Mike White?

Mike White was very complimentary about how the Vols played several times in the interview. I just think he gets tired of Barnes beating the stew out of him all the time.

I found it several places (on UGA fan sites) after the game, but can't find it anywhere now. Wonder if he said something "wrong" and requested it be taken down?

I watched it and felt like it was fine regardless your fan affiliation. He was obviously not happy getting his a$$ handed to him but I thought he did a good job in the interview. Who knows though, I'm a little older and words don't bother me much lol.

He's 2-9 vs Barnes. I'd be butthurt too. His post game comments were basically saying how Tennessee is the way better team (scoreboard seemed to back that up too).

You’d think he would have known he’d still be in our *league when he left Florida for Georgia. I don’t blame him for getting out of that nasty swamp before they axed him, but surprised he didn’t do what Jamey Dixon, Kevin Stallings (Pitt didn’t have lower expectations than Vandy but he left VU before he could get fired),Tubby Smith and some others did and go to a different league to a team with lower expectations

I’m thrilled to have Danny White as AD, but I must admit Mike White is a friggin creep. Jumping ship in the same conference? Weird deal. I’m radically different than my younger sibling, but I don’t question her integrity. Mike White just seems like a sleaze.

Sorry, but I don’t see your point. Switching jobs doesn’t make someone a sleaze. Most view MW’s job change as him getting out under his own terms as his seat had gotten very hot at Florida.

Confession time: when we hired Barnes, at the time I was like, damn, I would have rather had Mike White. Sure am glad to have been wrong about that. White is an average coach, at best.

Dang that's harsh. He hasn't panned out as a top notch coach in the SEC but you can't blame a guy for jumping ship before he gets fired.

Yup....I don;t blame anyone for leaving Florida. Mike White, Urban Meyers, Steve Spurrier, Billy Donnavon, Aaron Hernandez, etc
