Who our first commit will be?
I'm going to say Heastie. He's bee to Knox a couple times and is impressed when he goes home. I say he commits soon.

My gut is telling me Zach Rogers. My gut also suggests that Heastie will be a Gator in part because I expect Harvin to go pro next year. If Heastie does go Vol, then my gut also suggests that he will not do so until after he knows what Marlon Brown is doing, which may be awhile.

The coaches are pushing Marlon for an early commit. I would say the best bet is Zach Rogers as first, but I want Heastie more.

The only reason I think Heastie will be a Gator is that last summer, before his junior season, he was already a presumed UF lock. Once he knows that Harvin is clearing out, I think it will be hard for him not to come full circle. That said, if the Vols can score Heastie and Brown it would be quite a coup. If I were guessing, I'd say that the Vols biggest competition for Brown is USC (hunch).

We will win this battle though...w/ USC.

If Patrick Turner continues to be underutilized i think it could work to the Vol's advantage. At least it would give them a strong argument for why Brown should think twice about them. Of course, if PT becomes their feature WR it could have an opposite effect.

i think pushing for an early commitment from Marlon may backfire on us if he wants to take his time.

Volnbama, you must learn to recognize the sarcasm that is Rex.
Rex isnt a glass half empty guy, no no no, he is wondering why we have a less than top quality glass in the first place.

He is positive when we get a good commitment though.

I'm still having trouble recognizing sarcasm on message boards. I will learn from this mistake.:)

Most things on this board are sarcasm. Oh and by the way, everything that everyone says or thinks is absolute truth. They have great sources through their friend's cousin's roomate who had a conversation with a family at Outback Steakhouse.

Now, I am wondering what the chances are that a friend of mine has a cousin with a roomate who talked about recruiting with a family at an Outhouse Steakback.
