After the game was over they cut to what sounded like ESPN radio. All I heard was an ESPN guy (know him but can't remember his name) say, "...the line is Go Vols. It's nice to see those oh so cocky Vols..." It almost sounded like they were off the air.

Oh well, didn't want to add to anyone's conspiracy theories but it was an odd comment.

Good game today guys and thanks to the seniors. We'll be seeing many of you on Sundays (at least the D).

I heard it as well... very brief. Not sure who it was or what the context was. Certainly doesn't help our anti-ESPN sentiment.

i had a similar expereince on payperview watching the memphis game with the commentators from css. they cut to a commercial and they thought they were off air and started bashing erik ainge. sayin they didnt know what was wrong with the kid and that the balls he was throwin are completely off target and is playin absolutely awful. obviously they thought they were off the air. it was right after ainge had thrown an interception.

Just as many have believed that there seems to be an anti-UT sentiment among many sportscasters. It is so obvious that many are one-sided with their remarks during the game. I have never understood why either.

Yup, I heard that as well, but I was just changing the channels “the oh so cocky Vols”…and thought I heard him wrong.

Heh... those lovely fans from Alabama had a sign that read, "Lee Corso is a bastard" when they were down there for the LSU game.

Lou Holtz, on the other hand, makes me want to gouge sharp objects into my ears. That Notre Dame slurp job just now was pathetic...

I am depressed Stanford didn't beat them... It would have done a ton for the conference, including getting Oregon into a BCS game.

Next time gameday goes to Knoxville, everyone should hold up anti ESPN signs with filthy language to see what they'd do.
