Just wondering...

This game makes me wonder how anyone expects USC to lose this year. If Oregon is one of the upper tier of The Pac10

No, Oregon is not upper-tier Pac-10. They are middle.

And the first half was slow. Usual BCS team vs. mid-major story. Mid-major teams competes for about the first half but gets stopped in every way after that. Houston has not scored since the first quarter and the game is about 1/4 of the way into the 4th.

If Oregon is middle, who is upper?

OSU?
Arizona St.?

USC, Cal, ASU most of the time. And if Washington improves this season, there is not really a lower tier below that.

You know this how? If Houston doesn't score on this drive, Oregon will have held them scoreless for three straight quarters. The Ducks looked bad the first quarter but have dominated the rest of the time. So who's to say?
