No, I agree with your point but recency bias knows the vols never are seeded what they deserve. The NCAA wouldn't like seeing us have to 1 seeds in both playoffs, especially 2 in basketball!

Well, we play one of the teams above us in Knoxville. So winning that game would move us up.

8th in RPI right now. Would probably be a 2 seed if the tourney started today. That being said I'll take a 2 seed any day.

Well zaga lost to a mid major at home. Kansas lost. Houston lost to unranked temple at home. Seems logical to me.

It's a pretty tough stretch of games too. Hope they stay in the zone for them.

I’m surprised we moved to #4. I truly am. However, one thing I know for sure is that there’s going to be tons of movement before Selection Sunday. Everything is premature at this point.

Agree...not expecting top 4...was thinking 7ish range. If I'm being honest, I don't think we're a top 4 team at this point...

I love being 4th in both poles but it is a long way to March. There is no doubt that Tennessee is an outstanding team and capable of winning at all...GO VOLS!!

Last year two #1 seeds had 6 losses. In 2021, even with fewer games than normal, two #1s had 4 and 6 losses. 2019 there was a 5 and 6 loss #1 seed. 2018 there was a 5 and 7 loss #1 seed.

So winning out would definitely guarantee a #1, we can probably still lose a couple and be in the conversation for a #1.

I'm expecting at regular season end before tourneys we will have 3 more losses and end up a 2 seed.

Our hard part of the schedule begins Sunday. Losses at Aub, Ky. and one other somewhere down the line.
