AP Poll

We still play LSU and Georgia, so if we take care of business we will be a top 10 team. However, I have this latent fear the idiot polsters will some how put Cal in front of us.

I like the AP better myself but I am a little bewildered by the two 1st place votes for W.Va. I wish there was some way Miss.St. could will their team to a victory this week.

unfortunatley theirs no perfect way to rank 119 teams. Someone is always going to be ranked somewhere they shouldn't be. I hate to see the likes of W.V. and Louisville in the top 10. I don't doubt they are good teams, but they truley don't play the calibar teams as in the SEC. Take any unbeaten team in the Nation and put them in the SEC and see if they can go unbeaten for 12 games. The SEC is so good that by the end of the season most of the teams are so beat up its a wonder that any SEC team wins a Bowl Game.

I like that, I think after we beat UGA we could move up 2 or 3 spots reguardless of if someone loses in front of us or not.....Mostly because that would be a r eal quality win

I hope UF has the same latent fear about us. We're not quite half-way thru the season yet, and the top 13 is tight as a snare drum, but if we beat UGA convincingly between the hedges and UF goes down unimpressively, who knows? Tough as our schedule is for the next few games, UF's is tougher, and I think there's plenty of time to make up ground.
