Interesting stats: This is the first time both UF and FSU have began the season unranked since 1974, and the first time LSU has began the season unranked since 2000.

Pretty sure we lost to LSU in 2000 and they rushed the field. Oh how things have changed .
And pretty sure they had just hired a new coach that year...has he gone on to do anything big?

A lot of people, mostly outside the SEC, wonder why LSU has been so consistently good since 2000/Saban's arrival. I've always thought the better question was why weren't they better before 2000?

A home overtime thrilling win over a meaningful opponent will have that affect on a student body. It would be understandable if the Vol student body reacts this way with the next home win over Bama.

I agree. Everything goes in cycles. There was once a time when LSU football was absolutely terrible. We lead the all time series 20-8.

I hope those UT students are already born and not just still a sparkle in their dad's eye.
I am old and tired of waiting.
