I know much has been said about Kristin Talentt and her ranking of UT 21st and Nova 8th. But look the other morons and where they ranked us.

One of the guys that has us unranked resides in no other than Athens, GA.... hmmmm.....

How can they possibly say that? Let alone defend their vote? We are undefeated with victories over some solid teams. Not to mention Villanova...

I personally sent an email to Clarkson asking him to explain his ballot, especially his vote on UT and Villanova. This was his response:

"I've been taking a wait-and-see attitude toward Tennessee mostly because of Bruce Pearl's suspension. I might have been a bit harsh on Tennessee by leaving them completely out after beating Villanova. But I do have an eye on them and a very long season has only just begun.

Very weak. The "season has only just begun" for every single team in the rankings, yet many of the weaker ones are getting voted over the Vols. If he's truly taking a "wait-and-see-attitude", what more does he need to see than what happened in the championship game of the NIT?

I also sent an email to Kristin (no) Tallent, but she wasn't man enough to explain herself.

Glad you posted this. Extremely weak explanation. Personally, I could care less about ranking, but it's interesting to learn just how clueless some of the voters are.
