Pretty much eliminates Boise. Can we get a playoff already?

Also, it's going to be complete garbage if we see an NC rematch if OKST/Stanford both lose.

I don't want a playoff, I don't want to ruin the awesome regular season of CFB. But, just put Boise in one year. Just do it.

You don't have to "ruin" the CFB regular season, just put in a plus-one or a four-team playoff after the bowl games.

I actually find it funny that Boise State has no chance if Bama wins out. I've always thought that Boise State doesn't deserve a title shot with that schedule. Whether it's their fault or not, it's not LSU and Bama's fault they play in the same conference. Just transfer to CUSA if it's all the same and play the card "Going undefeated is all we could do, our poor schedule isn't our fault"

Sorry but the Boise State thing annoys me. They don't deserve a shot over Bama or Oregon at this point if both win out. Their only loss would be to the #1 team in the country. Which means they actually get punished for playing quality opponents. Oregon should have just scheduled some team from the MWC instead of LSU. If beating an entire schedule made up of MWC gets you a shot at the title, playing one outside of the Pac 12 should too. No need to schedule teams like LSU OOC

If LSU and Bama are the best two teams then I am OK with it. If Oregon wins out then they would be the only other team in the mix, but LSU already beat them. Maybe if Penn St. wins out their in the mix but Bama beat them.

I think we will be seeing a rematch... Stanford gets Oregon at home but they're too banged up on both sides of the ball to get it done, IMO. Okie Lite has a 50/50 shot at best of winning out.

I like Boise State but if they want in the NC game they need a tougher schedule week in and week out. Beating a down Georgia team on opening week wont cut it.

I hate to say this too, but Bama played like the #2 team not the #4. AP poll is bull crap. Unless we have a playoff EVERY National Championship game should just be the SEC Championship game.

AP poll means nothing once the BCS standings come out since it isn't part of the BCS formula. In my opinion, that invalidates the BCS standings since the AP seems to be the go to poll for the first six weeks of the season.

Georgia's not down right now. They're shaping up to 10 wins in the regular season and a berth in Atlanta.

And what do you want from the AP voters? I agree Bama is a better football team, but they have a loss and Stanford and Ok St do not.

That said, if the BCS comes out and Boise is not ahead of Bama there, they are officially out of the picture.

Boise is our biggest fans right now.

Think about this scenario.

UGA ends up being a top 10 team with 10 wins and a berth in Atlanta.
Stanford and Okie State suffer a loss. UGA somehow competes against LSU in the SECCG.

That makes Boise look really good. Just saying.

Also, Boise's remaining three games are against teams with winning records: vs TCU (7-2), @ SDSU (5-3), vs Wyoming (5-3) before a walk-through against winless New Mexico. So their SOS should be getting a decent bump in the next 30 days.

I am of the opinion that if the NC game happens to be between LSU and Boise St., I think the outcome will resemble what Georgia did to Hawaii in the Sugar Bowl a few years back. It will not end well for Boise St.

Wait, shouldn't that then invalidate the AP poll then?

The only thing go to about it is just that Espn chooses to use it

I highly doubt that. The disparity between '11 Boise and '07 Hawaii is lightyears more than the disparity between '11 LSU and '07 UGA.

LSU would win, but it would not be that kind of curbstomping.

I don't know Milo, with the way LSU can constantly rotate in their front four, I don't think Boise's line will be able to hold them off and give Kellen time to get through his reads. Also, that front will occupy the O line and make running the ball damn near impossible, as we saw last night.

We'll just have to wait and see, if it happens.

It could be. Boise is talented, but LSU is still miles ahead of them in every facet of the game.

Boise's offense is absolutely better than bama and lsu, and I hate Boise. They practically outnumber osu fans here.

Not saying Boise would win, just saying it wouldn't turn into a beatdown.

People get the argument mixed up all the time; its not whether they're good or not, because they are. It's that they play such a weak schedule.
