Hopefully Josh will learn from this. We basically recruited the first quarterback in the NIL era everyone was so excited about the hype and no one thought he would leave this way. So hopefully Josh can learn from this going forward. The NCAA is a horrible Institution and they obviously don't give a crap about fans or the colleges

So you’re basing him being better on practice and assumptions? Nico is taller, who has a faster 40 time? Clearly I’m rooting for Merk if he is our guy. But I’m not going to pretend he’s better on paper in every way when that clearly isn’t true.. I mean it could be but we won’t know until the season starts. He was the clear back up who likely was never going to start here until Nico decided to walk.

Not so sure, Coach cut bait pretty quick and might indicate MERK had a shot at passing him in production before next fall. He is not a freshman anymore.

Really like to know which one the squad felt more comfortable with running the show. Coach had great success without first line 5 stars in the past. Time will tell if Nico can add the head game to the arm game. Same for MERK and GMAC. Arm strength only carries you so far, head strength with less arm has yielded lots of highly productive QB’s. Once again, only time will tell.

I heard he was running to tell his dad to stop the meeting but he ran out of bounds before he got there.

Both had one thing in common. they both knew how to run out of bounds as the clock expired.

Don't feel bad my man. I got banned for a few days last year after the Arkansas game (rightfully so, I might add) Emotions get the best of of all from time to time.

I don't see the comparison whatsoever . Those folks wanting to see Nico over JM play ( including me) were based on sound logic. Once we had lost enough games that a NC was out of question, there was no viable reason to keep playing Milton just to get to a bowl game. I still felt we'd been better off letting Nico get some game time and be ready out the gates for next season ( last season). If anything Nico's leaving early validates our point.

Joe Milton never tried to blackmail the team or hold them hostage. Joe could have transferred after 2021 and played somewhere else, but he stayed and sat behind Hendon Hooker. In my opinion Joe is a Vol For Life. Nico is the poster child for everything that is wrong with the sport.

Better in character, Merk wants to be here and Nico doesn’t. That in itself, makes Merk better in my opinion.
