Collins has already toured through Knoxville and has been continually building out his relationship with DL coach Rodney Garner, who was in Arkansas in January.
“He’s a veteran in the D-line game and he isn’t loud with it and he doesn’t say too much, but when he does say — it’s understood,” Collins said. “Some people don’t need to talk a lot or yell and scream, but when they say something you understand it 100 percent. He’s one of those guys and that’s what I love about him.”
on3“The coaches down in Knoxville are like brothers to me,” he said. “They call me and ask me about my day, ask me ‘Charlie, how’s Mom doing?’ and they also reach out to my mom and wish her a good day at work, and I love stuff like that. They’re making my mom feel included because my mom is gonna play a big role in my decision.”
