God I wish! That is a legendary dirt track.
I had a friend die in a sprint car.

my buddy in Dayton and myself are loosely throwing around the idea of going to Eldora this summer.

Never been to the 500 but I've been down to the 24hr race several times.

Lived in Ohio, Ind and Iowa for 12 yrs. Went to many sprint races, twice to Eldora, twice Terra Haute, once Knoxville and IRP. I saw Tim Richmond race several times as he only lived about 15 miles from me. A mutual friend that came down to Bristol with me many times built his sprint car engines. Jac Haudenschild lived just outside the town Ilved in. If you can go to Eldora, do it, you won't be disappointed. It is unlike any of the others. If a driver lets up the least little bit in time trials, he is in the lower mains. The top guys never crack the throttle.

LOL I actually got to race with Jac one night. He drove a mini sprint in a race I was in. He is a little guy.
