Are Arkansas fans really this dumb....

Did you actually read the thread? I thought they seemed pretty respectful. Of course they're going to think their job is the best. The ability to be impartial isn't a requirement for big fans of a sports team.

I see nothing wrong with that thread.....They have opinions like everybody else....They didn't badmouth us or anything.

As someone who lives in the Ozarks and works for an Arkansas alum, I can honestly say the majority of their fanbase is far less delusional than ours. I always get a good chuckle when I reference the fumble rooskie and call them a Big 8 program. I've even talked to some that would welcome Bobby P back with open arms, knowing The Hill & The Barn are far more enticing jobs to the available coaches.

The best thing that ever came out of Arkansas was Cedric Houston!! Clarendon!

And if you're a duck hunter, you know where I'm talking about!!

Less delusional? I don't know, I've been around a bunch and they honestly think they are a top 5 program.

It is probably pretty close to even now (UT used to be a better job easily) when you take into consideration fan support, facilities, & money. I'd give a slight edge to UT, but not by a lot.

Agreed for most part and neither one of us are top 5.

They seem like an actual reasonable fan base. I think the UT job is better myself but he!! Like the one guy said "I am looking through orange colored glasses"

I hunted both Suttgart and in Louisiana. LA has more ducks and more variety of ducks.

How in the blue hail is Allbarn a better job? They may pay their players more, but it is not a better job.....Arkansas is maybe the fifth best job in the west.....

I'm living in Arkansas and of the college age. And yes, oh my god yes the majority of Arkansas fans are complete idiots who really believe that they are some top program, yet they have never won ANYTHING. Not even one SEC title.

The "better job" rankings are always about recent success. Alabama was supposedly a horrible job for almost two decades because their fans were delusional, their expectations were too high, etc etc etc. Then they hired Nick Saban and now it's considered one of the top jobs in the country. Funny how that works.
