Can we do what TAM did yesterday, but come out as the winner? What did they do that we couldn't? I didn't think their QB was a dual threat like Hooker. Sure, we're a different team with different staff. Just wondering what we can do better this Saturday.

Every week and every team is a unique matchup with its own challenges. We gotta keep Bama out of rhythm and off balance. And yes, the officials will not give us any 50/50 calls

This is exactly what some people will never understand. As many games are played in a year and decades. Folks will still fall into the trap of did you see that one game someone played and not discount it as situational football.Every week and every team is a unique matchup with its own challenges. Did you watch the game? TAMU defense is much better and they are really good tacklers.
Good point. My thoughts exactly. The elephants like to pretend that Tennessee is irrelevant, but not playing BY last night tells a different story.Their D was so much better because they knew 90% of the time or more Bama was going to run the ball.
Makes things quite a bit easier.
Cuts down on time your D is on the field so they can go all out on every play.
If Young was out this Saturday, UT would beat Bama as badly as we did LSU. Their offense wouldn't be able to keep up, force them to throw and start counting the interceptions.
We will not be so lucky. Saban knew he could win that game last night without BY.
That is an insane statement. QB position aside, Bama is better than LSU at every position on the offensive side of the ball. Milroe is probably better than Daniels to be honest. Bama is at a level where their offense can change from what it was with BY, to a run heavy offense in the middle of a game (Arkansas) and beat their brains in. Don’t get me wrong, this is not an “oh no Bama is gonna kill us response”, I’m just pointing out that saying BY being out means we beat Bama by a score of 40-13 or worse is crazy talk. We can hang with them and pull out a W. I truly believe this. But no need to short change Bama. They’ve got the horses to win every game they play whether or not BY is in the game.Their D was so much better because they knew 90% of the time or more Bama was going to run the ball.
