Are we stronger than TAM? They gave BAMA fits...

Can we do what TAM did yesterday, but come out as the winner? What did they do that we couldn't? I didn't think their QB was a dual threat like Hooker. Sure, we're a different team with different staff. Just wondering what we can do better this Saturday.

Score……….we can score, and we do that better than anyone in the SEC.

Bryce Young being out was huge. aTm knew Bama couldn’t pass and just played the run. We won’t have that luxury.

If TN only has to worry about the run like Texas a&m then yes we have a major shot. fingers crossed young will have some trouble with the deep ball coming off the shoulder injury. i think we will have to start fast and score on every opportunity to keep this one close.

Why does everyone think Bama is some juggernaut ? They are not. If we keep 31 out of our backfield we have a good chance. Play the run and tackle. BY is not going to be 100% if he truly had an AC sprain. We have to do what we do and keep everything infront us and try to cause a turnover or two and protect the ball when we have it.

Yeah and the replay officials back in Birmingham are eating & drinking in the local restaurants while conversing and hearing Roll Tide ad nausea all weekend.Yep 50/50 will be hard to come by.
I can just hear Gary say usually when they call him out on the field it has to be irreversible. Wow the Birmingham connection is working.😃

Uh their defense is much better than ours. Our offense is much better than theirs.

Did you watch the game? TAMU defense is much better and they are really good tacklers.

We gotta match big play to their big plays. My fear is Bryce leads them on a 2 minute drive and they beat us right at the end. I wouldn’t trust our secondary to stop them in that situation. Bryce is clutch

if Bryce Young is still out for our game, the refs will call so many penalties on us that Bama wins anyway. There is no way the SEC let's #1 Bama lose to the Vol's.

This is exactly what some people will never understand. As many games are played in a year and decades. Folks will still fall into the trap of did you see that one game someone played and not discount it as situational football.

Their D was so much better because they knew 90% of the time or more Bama was going to run the ball.

Makes things quite a bit easier.

Cuts down on time your D is on the field so they can go all out on every play.

If Young was out this Saturday, UT would beat Bama as badly as we did LSU. Their offense wouldn't be able to keep up, force them to throw and start counting the interceptions.

We will not be so lucky. Saban knew he could win that game last night without BY.

Good point. My thoughts exactly. The elephants like to pretend that Tennessee is irrelevant, but not playing BY last night tells a different story.

That is an insane statement. QB position aside, Bama is better than LSU at every position on the offensive side of the ball. Milroe is probably better than Daniels to be honest. Bama is at a level where their offense can change from what it was with BY, to a run heavy offense in the middle of a game (Arkansas) and beat their brains in. Don’t get me wrong, this is not an “oh no Bama is gonna kill us response”, I’m just pointing out that saying BY being out means we beat Bama by a score of 40-13 or worse is crazy talk. We can hang with them and pull out a W. I truly believe this. But no need to short change Bama. They’ve got the horses to win every game they play whether or not BY is in the game.

Tennessee is 6th in red zone D

No one else is in the top 12 of both.

A&M is 3rd in red zone D……but their O……..is stanky.
