Ok ok, don't CALL anyone, but how about some stories? Do you constantly check to see what stat AllVol has come up with, or what sort of drunk thing Otis will say? How about begging for fans of opponents comming in to talk trash?

I know that I check it for about 15 mins every hour at work. My boss is starting to get pissed that I always have "that Tennessee garbage" up on the screen, instead of work. I think I need help.

Hi, my name is rwemyss, and I'm a VolNation addict.

You don't need help, just get quicker with the "Minimize" button. :D

I've got to say Allvol has the early lead for the football season's Most Valuable Poster.

I'm really glad that I found the Volnation. My production at work always goes down during football season. The stuff I post is stuff that I've always done, just never shared with anyone.

The funniest story I've got is that one evening on the way home from work.... I stopped at the gas station.... just so happened that one of the guys from my church was walking in as I was walking out... we started talking about Tennessee football (of course).... well, one thing led to another and he started in on how the coaching staff needed to be fired... we got into a fairly heated discussion.... the funny part is that I told him he sounded like a few of the naysayers at the VolNation... he was like, 'what?'  :dunno: he had no clue what I was talking about....

Hi, my name is allvol, and I'm a VolNation addict.

Great story allvol. I know we sure are glad you found us. You bring a lot of quality info to the board.

Also GAVol has been one of our regulars for a long time. I am sure he remembers last year when it was just a few of us keeping it going.

Jr has pefected the post padding to unprecented levels.

Milo has brought that "left coast" view that the board needs. He keeps us all straight when we all insist how bad the Pac10 is.

allvolinky- don't believe LIO about not laughing. She is mean to everyone but you should post anyway. If not, we are still glad to have you lurking around.

donsargegolf- what can I say. You have learned not to use caps lock. And while some of the things you post makes me think you are off your rocker....we have had some good discussions.

U-T was a good post padder in his day, until he had to leave to do something much more important. Glad to have ya back bro.

I got interupted and didn't get to finish my tribute to people who posted in this thread:

Storm was a post padder in the truest meaning of the word when he arrived. I can look back at the bandwidth logs and the bandwidth usage of the site immediately when up when he got here. Not to mention his "From the Hill" articles.

LIO. Hmmm. What to say. :D Just kidding. I think LIO was VN's first regular poster that wasn't one of my buddies that I bribed into posting here. And of course if she wasn't around I don't think any of us would be able to spell at all. :p

and Otis..... Otis can entertain himself for hours in "The Topic that will never Die". It's quite comical to read. My morning always consists of checking that topic to see if Otis went on a bender the night before. :eek:lol:

Definitely much props to Freak for keeping the board worth visiting. Even when I don't feel like posting, I have to stop by and see what everyone is saying.

Real American Genius...

Here's to you, Mr. Obssive VolNation poster

It's time for you to crawl in a hole with nothing but a computer, a cable tv and enough beer to last you the winter. (Crawl in a hoo-oole, oh yeah) It's that wonderful winter hibernation called "football season." (hibernationfootballseason, yeeaahh) While most of the rest of the country goes on with their lives and their jobs, you follow the boys in orange nonstop. When they beat Georgia, you complained that there were no parades and when they lost to Notre Dame, you got the same motionless feeling as if a national disaster happened (It's not a national disaaaaster, oohh). Through it all, though, you keep spending your time on the message board with that distinct orange background, inching closer every day towards carpel tunnel syndrome, discussing the same things endlessley until something else happens. Which is also discussed endlessly. (bunchapeoplewithnothing to do, uh-huh). So crack open a cold one, Mr. Obsessive VolNation Poster, this one's for you.

Couldn't resist :D

I am still addicted, but lately all the coach bashing and that idiot TT just makes me want to hit the reboot button and go have a cold one, but I'll hang in admitting you have a problem is the first step right?
