You know, the coaches in this league aren't too bad. The players are still around XFL level, probably a little better actually.

And Nancy Pelosi's husband finances the league, so......UFL = Socialism :)

i will say, i do like their OT rule where each team gets one possession and then sudden death. I hope its entertaining, and dosent end up owned by the NFL who will run it into the ground..

I've always favored that particular OT rule to take over the current OT rules in the NFL, and in college ball as well.

I think a league like this could have a shot in the spring or summer but I dont think head with college and NFL a leaugue can make it. I'm still holding out for the AAFL lol

Actually there's already been talk of the UFL becoming officially linked to the NFL as their "minor" league, pretty much replacing what NFL Europe was.

I'm still hoping the USFL comes back like it was supposed to. Last I heard with the economy it was being "postponed", which means it will likely never happen.

They need venues where alcohol can be served. I don't see any spring/summer league lasting if they're playing in college stadiums with no beer.

Well if you judge by the nicknames...uh...yeah...the league is in trouble:
