Really!? Butch Jones!! Well we're not going to get to Atl in the next 5 years! Why couldn't we get a top coach?

Because the other coaches did not want to come here. Jones wanted to come here. He had other options, but chose to come to Tennessee. They could have made Sal head coach. I am sure that would have made the fan base real happy.

I have no idea why ppl r freaking out.. This guy can coach.. Conference coach of year 5 out of 6 times? Very similar résumé to brian Kelly before nd

Lets give the man a chance at least he wanted to come where the others used Tennessee to get more money, the hell with Gruden, Strong, Gundy and anybody else, they proved that they have a fear of the SEC, Lets get behind him and see where we go, I believe he can coach if he can recruit we will WIN.:rock:

Have you even read up on the guy??? He had better higher rated classes at Cincy than kelly did all 3 yrs. His offense scored same points and his defense was better. So yea i guess you can say not close, but not as you think!!!! Do some homework on the guy. Players love him and play hard for him. The only reason people here don't like him was CDD beat him, but guess what, that's CDD best win and best game they ever played while he was here, and never again seen!!!!!:peace2:

Obviously coaches don't think they can win here because of the administrative issues! So we have to settle for mid majors. Not even the top notch ones like Peterson either. At least we'll make bowl games now but I know he can't match up with Saban, Muschamp, Milles, Spurrier, Sumlin, or even Rihct. SHM.
