I think that’s the plan for almost all Vol fans. I haven’t heard or read about anyone going to Indy.
It will be almost all Purdue and UK fans.
FWIW, tickets in the Vols’ sections are practically gone on the secondary market from what I see. Now that could easily be UK and Purdue fans buying up everything and packing the entire place. I’m sure we’ll have a good amount of orange in the building but there will definitely be more blue. Just know it is nice for those guys to run out and see a nice group of orange in the stands making some noise.

I hope so.
I heard somewhere that the configuration is set up to accommodate about 30,000 for basketball.

It will likely be 90% blue and black & gold. Us and Houston will share the other 10%.

I’ve found it interesting that they have been opening up new sections for seating as they sell out. Can’t make it up there on Friday due to work, but plan on going Sunday if we win.
If it’s Tennessee and Houston on Sunday, the huge numbers of Purdue and UK fans will be selling their tickets really cheap.

I will be there. As far as the “basketball in a football stadium” narrative goes, I have some experience with that. In 2010, the Vols played in St. Louis at the Edward Jones Dome, home of the St. Louis Rams. It was the Sweet 16/Elite 8 weekend and there were questions about how the atmosphere would be the way everything was laid out.

It turned out that the atmosphere was absolutely electric, the crowd was huge, and the games were quite competitive. Good experience as far as the crowds and venue went, so I’m expecting the same at Lucas Oil Stadium.
