I meant to post this earlier but got busy. I recently attended the Vandy game, as I was entering I remembered I had my back up weapon on me. As I approached the the female officer with the metal detector I was waiting to be wisked away and having to explain myself. Much to my surprise and relief the officer waved the wand over my front side and waved me on through. I had two guys with me and come to find out one of them also had his back up on him!

That's horrible. That should be reported. My next question is are you allowed to carry a weapon at all times especially if your out of your jurisdiction and where alcohol is served.Just curious. My brother-in-law has a gun permit, I don't know how, but he does. But I will say, my wife works downtown Nashville, and several times has been approached while sitting at a red light and people trying to get into her car.

My dad came on base one day, bed of the truck filled with 10 gallon gas containers, must have been 20 or so. They search the truck and find his service pistol (He is a POST certified Peace Officer in GA), they flip out because he had a gun, but didn't say a darn thing about the excessive diesel. Since I am a base cop, I called and took care of things, but it goes to show you how narrow-minded people are.

Badge totin LEO's now matter what state or jursidiction shuld be allowed to carry.
