Ok so I just looked back through pages of threads and didn't find any about this film. Damn was that good.

Very good movie. I think I was most surprised by the level of detail they went to get the characters to look like the people they were portraying.

Argo was an excellent movie. I haven't seen Zero Dark Thirty but my guess would be that you could personally relate better to that story than you could the Argo one.

lol I just did the same thing. My roommates wouldn't shut up during ZDT so I'll watch it again tomorrow. At the moment, though, I'm more of a fan of Argo

I had some kids sitting behind me that wouldn't shut up. They came in late and just kept whispering loud. You know when people whisper, but you can still here them from like 50 feet away. Well they were sitting in the row behind me.

Just got up and moved to the other end of the row.

I thought ZDT > Argo. Argo was a good movie though.

Now that I've watched ZDT in peace and quiet, I still think Argo was better, but ZDT was definitely deserving of the Best Picture nomination

I thought it was ok, but easily could have been a made for TV movie. Nothing special. More Holloywood pumping am average film.

I'm old enough to remember some of the events when they happened. I knew how the story ended. And I still found myself scared they weren't going to make it. I thought it was a brilliant movie.

I may be in the minority, but I didn't think Zero Dark Thirty was all that great. It was a good movie, just not as great as most everyone else seems to think.

I thought Argo was excellent, and much more suspenseful.

Argo just took so many liberties with th story was the problem.

Created drama that was not there. It was a good movie but not great in my opinion.

Zero dark thirty was good but slower and not funny like Argo was

Pretty good. Loosely "based" on a true story. Lotta Hollywood in it. Canada did much more than the movie indicates.
