Arizona Election Audit

Why should we believe Maggie here? As a person who detests politicians in general and does not support political parties I have to admit that journalists and journalism in general are only slightly less slimey. If this story isn't true it wouldn't be the first, second or even third time they contrived or participated in perpetuating a false narrative or even flat out lied, which I just don't understand, Trump gave them plenty of factual things to report in a negative light.
That is Charles C.W. Cooke of the National Review who says that he was able to confirm Maggie Haberman's story. You can believe whatever you want, but National Review does have good sources from within the Republican Party.

I think Trump probably is repeating that stupid claim made by Sidney Powell, that he can be "reinstated" later this year as president. However, I think it has become evident that Trump will say a lot of ridiculous things in private, that he doesn't honestly believe. Remember that bizarre nuking hurricanes story? The test of whether or not Trump actually believes one of these crazy theories of his, is whether or not he brings it up at a rally or when talking to Fox News. For what it's worth, Trump recently held a rally in North Carolina... and he didn't mention this.

We need an audit to audit the audit that audited the audit that audited the previous audit that audited the audit that audited the audit of the first audit that audited the audit of the election results in which they found absolutely nothing.

All audits prior to the AZ were a sham and a farce. Even the AZ audit does not go far enough since it lacks a forensic audit of the machines.

You pretty much nailed it.

What about the AZ audit of the audit that audited the audit of the audit that audited the audit of the audit that audited the audit of the other audit that audited the audit of the first audit that audited the election results in AZ?

Let me guess.....THIS time they're going to find something! And if not we can just do another audit of an audit that audited the audit of another audit!

And now Eric Holder says it's time for the Justice Department to get involved. I think that's a pretty good sign that we are over the target.

You apply the same twisted rationale to practically everything. It works something like this:

"If a Democrat is complaining about it, then that must mean we are close to exposing their corruption, and they are worried about it."

It's as though you think a democrat not approving of it... is all the justification it needs.

I'm disappointed if they aren't doing forsenics on the machines.

It's possible if AZ does uncover something, then the same approach could've been used in other places.

Votes you'll never get back or weren't illegal are the ones due to the 23rd hour election law changes that broke state law.

You're complaining about logic in a subforum where multiple posters across the political spectrum would fail the Turing test despite actually being human. I wonder if some of them actually are bots generating discord fair the sake of creating research data. But that gives them an underserved pass.

Those were nothing but recounts, if even that, in a few days.
These are both either ignorant misrepresentations, or they are outright lies.

Per public radio station KJZZ.org in Phoenix, Arizona:

There were two forensic audits performed on Maricopa County election equipment and software in February. The audits were conducted by SLI Compliance and Pro V&V. Those two firms have been certified by the U.S. Election Assistance Commission (very much unlike "Cyber Ninjas"). Those audits were approved unanimously by the county Board of Supervisors in late January. They involved a complete analysis of Maricopa County's election process and results, and went beyond legally required reviews of the election.

In particular, those audits sought to address specific rumors and falsehoods used to allege that the results in Maricopa County weren't accurate. Republican Supervisor Bill Gates (not the Microsoft guy) said this about the audits:

"We have an opportunity as a community to work from a shared set of facts. Our ability to do that will determine the strength of our republic," Gates said in a statement. "The facts are the voting machines in Maricopa County counted ballots accurately and were not compromised in any way during the November general election," Gates concluded.

To be clear, Maricopa County's election results have already been audited multiple times by companies with experience in the field, with no problems being uncovered.

Ok I guess you have no problem at all with the Justice Department threatening to step in and stop a full forensic audit that the citizens of Arizona have demanded. Do yourself a favor and do a little research on what your typical state run audits actually consist of. Research who is actually on the Pro V&V as well as who's on the Election Assistance Commission....It's not exactly what you think it is.

LOL! Wait a minute here...

If you are going to accuse that firm of a bias, because of who is on it... That is very hypocritical, because you have not let it bother you that Doug Logan (of Cyber Ninjas) is obviously biased. Are you saying that a bias is not acceptable, unless it is a pro-Trump bias? At the very least, you are being inconsistent with your line of reasoning.

There have already been two forensic audits of the election in Maricopa County... and a Republican Supervisor named Bill Gates (not that Bill Gates) concluded that ballots were counted accurately and the machines used were not in any way compromised during the election. The two firms who conducted those forensic audits are well-experienced in working on elections (unlike Cyber Ninjas).

Finally, the citizens of Arizona didn't demand anything. Donald Trump did, and the Republican Party is subservient to him. Now, why they want to sacrifice their own reputations and integrity just for the sake of placating the loser of the election is anyone's guess... but one thing is for certain, and it will not change: Donald Trump did, in fact, lose the 2020 Presidential General Election.

This will probably come across as condescending, but I don't mean it that way... There is something very sad about what you do here every day. Copying and pasting all of these links that nobody ever reads. I'm sure most posters here read the Dickens novel "Great Expectations" in either the 8th or 9th grade. When I see your moniker, I envision Miss Havisham in her wedding dress. You just can't move on. It's so sad.

What’s even sadder is you coming on here to argue with the guy. Obviously you think this thread is dumb and the OP is as well. Then just don’t post in here. All you really do is Cyber Ninja this and blah, blah, blah. You just can’t move on. It’s really sad.
