No. You are confusing the term "consensus opinion" with the word "fact".

The consensus opinion among members of the scientific community, concerning the origin of COVID-19, is shifting away from the possibility that COVID-19 was spawned from a wet market in the Wuhan province of China, to the more likely possibility that it was created in the Wuhan Institute of Virology, but then "escaped".

However, neither one of those theories has ever risen from the realm of possibility into what can be accurately described as an established fact. At this point, they are still just two possibilities with varying degrees of likelihood.

Bull $hit. This thread and the audit in Arizona both exist because some people are disappointed that Trump lost. Neither would exist if Trump had won.

Agree but the original consensus opinion was bull$hit all along which the "scientific community" wanted to make as fact. Because of that "concensus opinion" any divergent hypothesis we called a lie. It has created more pushback from China trying to revisit it. It's doubtful we will learn a lot of "new" information unless new whistleblowers still exist.

My guess is it escaped the lab. But we funded that lab. So we are just as culpable as China. Or at least have a high degree of culpability

... and Trump won a closely contested, battleground state. Why isn't there an audit in North Carolina, if this really is all about election integrity, instead of just Trump's sour grapes?

I think people aren't used to this level of professionalism and not allowing leaks. It was said very early on that they weren't going to be allowing leaks and would have one report at the end. That's That's way it should always be done.
There are some rumblings about them coming up short 200,000 ballots but don't know if that is verifiable at this point.

LOL! You are killing me here.

It sure was professional of the Republican-controlled state legislature in Arizona to hire Doug Logan's firm to conduct this audit, considering that they (Cyber Ninjas) have no prior experience with working on an election... and that Logan had already publicly announced a conclusive determination on the website of a Trump campaign attorney before being hired, that Joe Biden only won the 2020 Presidential Election because of fraud.
