Tx am is for real!! They've been competitive every year. They have mostly lost only to top 5 teams in the last 3 years. They have even beatem some top 5 teams. So this is a sign to come. I think they overtake the West this year. With the offense scoring 35 points a game and Chavis holding teams to 20. As long as the game isn't close he calls an excellent game.

Er...they finished the regular season 7-5 last year, where they lost 5 of their last 7 games before they played in their bowl game (and almost lost to ULM, winning 21-16).



Also, huh? They lost to a #14 LSU in 2012 (or if going by how they're ranked at time of the game, a #24 UF). They lost to a #14 LSU (who was #22 when they played) and Missouri (granted yes, that was a top 5 team) in 2013. They lost to #11/#12 Mississippi State (#12/#14 when they played), a #14/#11 Missouri (who was unranked when they played), and an unranked LSU (who was also unranked when they played)...and Ole Miss also finished the year #17/#19.

Texas A&M will face a much tougher defense at Ball State next week. That will be the true test.
