Seems like you like Molly Miller as a coach.Good. Not in SEC.
She’s a cutie and did an impressive job at her last stop, Grand Canyon. Would not have been disappoint had AD DW gone with her instead of Kim, but I’m extremely happy with Mrs. Caldwell.Seems like you like Molly Miller as a coach.
Don't want here in SEC a sign of approvcable @chuckiepoo
I don't know much about her seen her name on here a time or two
Missouri settle for Kellie on the cheap? Miller is a Missouri girl.
I don’t disagree on living in AZ over Missouri. The comment was because the poster stated ASU paid more than Missouri. It very well could be that Miller enjoys living in Phoenix and wants to stay in Arizona. And let's be honest. With the wildly successful exception of Kim Mulkey, it seems to me that few coaches who come back "home" to resurrect a program are successful. Maybe there have been lots who have succeeded, but off the top of my head I can't think of any.
We'll find out when they release her pay info. But, Miller was being considered for both Ark and Missouri and then it suddenly cooled. We know how much Ark is paying their new coach, so pay would definitely be my guess for interest elsewhere.Missouri settle for Kellie on the cheap? Miller is a Missouri girl.
There’s a lot of talk in the coaching world that a lot of schools have cooled on Miller after they conducted an interview with her the last two cycles. Tennessee and Kentucky definitely did last year. I know she interviewed with Auburn, Arkansas and Missouri this year and all of them moved on with their searches. Obviously ASU plays in a relatively easier league, will be interesting to see how these hires look in 3-4 years. We'll find out when they release her pay info. Must not be all that impressive in person. There’s a lot of talk in the coaching world that a lot of schools have cooled on Miller after they conducted an interview with her the last two cycles. Wow, if the Beard is impressed Miller has accomplished something.Seriously doubt that
Take a few moments to check out videos of her mic'd up during practice. She's one of the most impressive teachers I've ever seen. Really clear with her instructions while personally demonstrating what she wants. Simultaneously encouraging and demanding
Then watch video of her open practices and see the high energy drills (such as the take a charge, pop up and save loose ball by diving in the floor drill). Non-stop encouragement from coaches throughout the drill pushing athletes hard while getting teammates involved.
Then watch her enthusiastic pressers firing up the fan base.
James Harden has already pledged a lot of financial support to her program to close the NIL gap. He seems impressed by her and her multiple coaching awards and 297-55 record.
