Ark vs Missouri

Wow Kelly Bryant took one hell of a beating this season. He's got two bad hamstrings and a bad knee and he had to have his knee drained which kept him out of the game with Arkansas.

Word circulating around Auburn is that if Gus loses by more than two TDs against Bama, he's out and likely headed to Fayetteville. Steele is rumored to be the favorite to take over if that occurs.
The Missouri fans on the Tigerboard are losing it. One of their quarterbacks went out with a knee injury and someone started a thread hoping the injury was career ending.

This is the first time that I recall both teams wearing the primary color jerseys (maroon and black). Anyone catch a reason why?

I want this in October. 3rd Sat please.
Yeah me too but Saban refuses to do that...I honestly wouldn't mind seeing it against Kentucky every year...Would be a colorful game.

USC/UCLA have been doing it almost a decade now. Utah/BYU do it too. UGA/Florida did it for about 3 years but stopped for some reason.

I really think it looks sharp as long as the teams colors are far enough apart.

I think in reality almost every team Tennessee plays we could wear orange jerseys if they allowed it. I can't think of anyone in the SEC that wouldn't have a big enough contrast. Maybe Vandy or Missouri if they wore their gold jerseys, that's about it.

Well, we can blame the NCAA for the uniform business. In 1971, they passed a rule that stated one team had to wear white. Sometime in the 80s, they changed it to the home team had to wear white (even LSU). Eventually, they changed it back to the original 1971 rule, and added a rider later that said if both teams agreed, they could both wear their primary colors. Leave to the NCAA to fix something that wasn't broken.

They are dumb enough to believe that, too. I believe he shares the distinct honor of winning one conference game in four years as a head coach. That is very rare company!
