Arkansas Game on TV?

I heard a rumor that the Arkansas game is not going to be televised. Someone please tell me this is just a rumor. How could this game between 2 top 25 teams not be televised?

That has to be horsecrap.......I looked at the schedule for that week and if we both win next week I think the Gameday crew will be at Arkansas for what will then be two teams in the top 10 clash. And if Ga somehow manages to beat Florida it will be the top of the SEC East VS the top of the SEC West. It'll be on TV - probably an 8:00 PM CBS game or at least the 3:30 CBS game.

I never say never when it comes to College Football. GA/Florida is a big rivalry. Would Bama have played us that close Saturday in Neyland if not for the rivalry? Georgia has something to prove - and beating Florida at this point would be as big of a win as they could get the rest of the season.

At the very least it should be the Lincoln Financial game.

Nothing will be officially released till Monday 10/30 for that weeks games. Here is the SEC schedule for 11/11. One would think that it would at least be an ESPN2 game.

Nov. 11
Alabama at LSU
Tennessee at Arkansas
Georgia at Auburn
South Carolina at Florida
Vanderbilt at Kentucky

The Tennessee Arkansas game is the best matchup that week. It will either be CBS or ESPN 7:30 game.

We know that ESPN is going to be all over the SC/FL game. GA/AU will be televised. I can see Bama/LSU on CBS or LF.

But I think there was a pretty big game at Arkansas that wasn't televised. Maybe the bama game?

4 quality SEC games on that day. Interesting to see how all of that turns out.

Another traveshamockery is the Vandy game which is also scheduled to start at 2EST... or sometime halfway through Michigan/Ohio State!

Lincoln Financial may carry the Vandy and KY game....I'd say the Georgia and Auburn game will be on ESPN at 3 o clock maybe? Alabama and LSU might play the 3:30 game on CBS and us play the 7:45 game on ESPN that night? Or the ESPN 2 game at 9 o' clock...That's what I see maybe happening, but then again I forgot about the SC @ UF game so I don't know

hey, maybe i'll see ya there, i fly out of Jacksonville that Friday:rock: , land in KC, Kansas and drive down from there, its pretty sad that renting a car out of KC and driving down is still cheaper than flying right into fayetville

What there saying here in Arkansas is if Arkansas and Tennessee Win Out untill they meet each other. Gameday will be in Fayetteville

I know that this is subject to change but on the espn schedule of games we are slated for 2pm EST. The Vandy game as metioned above is now scheduled for 1pm EST. I am assuming that this will change if we both win out and become a more attractive matchup.

I sure as heck hope so. Michigan/Ohio State usually always come on at 12EST... no other game that day should be scheduled prior to 3:30EST.

Ohio state plays Northwestern when we play Arkansas. The Michigan OSU game is on ABC at 330pm November 18th.

Oh, I was still talking about when the Vols play Vandy. :)

In that case, I hope the UT/Vandy game is moved up to the 11:30 LFS timeslot.

Bama/LSU 6.30 ESPN2
TN/ARK 3.30 CBS
GA/AUB 12.00 CBS
USC/UF 7.45 ESPN
VU/UK 12.00 LF

kind of like what they did with the AUB/ARK game and FL/LSU game...double header in the afternoon on CBS.

CBS Does not have a dbl. header that week. They have one this week with Notre Dame Navy and then Ga. Fla
