Arkansas is falling apart

I live here in Fayetteville, and work in Rogers.

The fans here are ready to implode...

I think Mitch is going to decide today whether he stays or leaves.

ha

I dont think he was making more then Cut, around 250K. I find it hard to believe he took a 175K pay cut at Tulsa.

That means he's making around 75K at Tulsa. He probably made close to that as a high school coach with 20+ yrs.

It was reported on 104.5 the zone which is Nashville's sports talk at 3PM that he took a $175,000 pay cut. Some Arkansas fan called in and said he walked away from a 300,000 contract to go to Tulsa so if that guy was correct than he will be making $125,000 at Tulsa to be a Co- Offensive Coordinator, not an Offensive Coordinator. Not only is he taking a cut in pay but also in title as he will share the duties with WV former QB coach. To leave the SEC West champs with a potential Heisman trophey winner in McFadden to go to a Conf. USA school for less money tells me that there is a lot of stuff going on behind the scenes in Arkansas.

Does seem like he feared Nutt was going to force him to resign. Or he's got a huge ego, and didn't like the backseat he took to Nutt coaching the offense. Welcome to Div 1 coach.

The widely circulated rumor a year ago, was Nutt had hired him to lure Mustain and company to Arkanas. Now that the recruits had committed, maybe he felt he was on the way out, and time to move while the opportunity presented itself.

It was more then likely a win win. Nutt got Mustain and Malzahn got himself in the door coaching at the next level.

hard to believe, thats more money then Cutt makes, and his last job was at the high school leve.

The losses on their offensive line could be a bigger factor than who they have slingin' the ball around or handing it off to #5 and #[Insert Felix Jones' # here].
