I was actually at their game yesterday. What a sad coincidence that the game was played in his home town. I bet a lot of his friends and family were there to watch him.

Maybe hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. It's not caused by heavy exercise, but if you have it and you're an athlete, it can kill you.

Very sad, whatever happened.

sounds like sudden death due to Long QT Syndrome. Basically your heart begins to beat so erratically it causes sudden death. Kinda like a a car engine that starts missing so badly it dies. This is caused by a genetic mutation.

He was last seen about an hour earlier playing video games. Then his roommate went back to the dorm room and found him unresponsive. Very sad thing. Life and everyday we get is precious and more important than football. RIP Garrett. Prayers for the family and the Arkansas family as well.
