Love the SEC network. No more pay-per-view for games against non BCS schools.

Plenty of time for the network to be picked up by all the major providers.

Still haven't heard an encouraging word from DirecTV.
Anybody heard any positives about DTV picking up SEC Network?

I've been with DTV for over 12 years, but I WILL leave them over the SEC Network.
I'm giving it until about the 3rd or 4th week of July, then I'm going to Dish or Time Warner Cable (which is the local cable in our area).

Wait, has Time Warner picked up SEC Network?

Me Thinks Me In Trouble.

You should go with Dish. Time Warner got bought by Comcast and they haven't picked up the SEC Network either.

Got an email yestidy from SECN, saying DTV hadn't hopped aboard as yet. Encouraging subscribers to once again send them emails to "DEMAND" the SECN.

DTV told me 1.5 months now gone, to wait til August when they'll know if they are agreed with negotiations. But I'm inclined to accept DISH when they send their annual rep to my door enticing me switch with deeply discounted packages. I've said no for 3.5 years now under the tenant of if it ain't broke don't fix it. But DTV has already pizzed me off with the sneak billing tactics rather recently. So unless they sign up with SECN by or before first week of July, I'm gone.

Danger! Danger Will Robinson! Danger. Be careful with TW, which is merging with Comcast now. Both have crappy customer service. TW customer service I have experienced before and even recently. They are horrible about being reachable. They're horrible about providing direct answers to simple questions as opposed to spewing canned spiel that doesn't even address the question. They're horrible about phone calls that put you on wait for hours or just hangs up on you. They're horrible about responding to snail mail. The cable gods help you if you have technical issue requiring someone to come fix it. Online help? You might as well lick a limestone rock instead of hoping for a lollipop.

I've been a Directv customer for years too. I will make the change as well if they don't pick up the SEC network. I think they will pick it up before the season starts though.

I don't get the SEC network here in Ducktown so I guess I'll be listening to it on 106.5 WSKZ.

Comcast and Charter haven't signed on yet, subscribers need to keep those phone lines hot. The Charter number is 1-888-438-2427. IDK the no. for Comcast.

I don't see any way possible that Comcast doesn't pick this up by this fall.

Sup, Thrasher, sup?

I'm with ya, bruh. No way we make it to August without the SEC network on Comcast. There will be lots of trailers set on fire if it doesn't happen....

I had my DirectTV boxes updated and when I was on the phone with them I asked about the SEC network, they are going to be caring it for sure.. He told me they would have it all negotiated by the 1st of August.

rumor is that charter and comcast missed out on picking up the sec network for this season. i heard this rumor at the orange and white game. the only reason to have cable is Tennessee football otherwise it is useless.

When you say you heard it at the Orange and White game, do you just mean you heard someone sitting near you in the stands saying it?

I lived in Duck town during high school. Freshman year I lived in buzzard roost then moved up to Ducktown.

I have dish and love it. Pretty good customer service and I haven't had too many issues. Pretty cheap packages too compared to dtv

Whatever companies that do not pick up SEC Network will lose tons and tons of customers. As a Business that is almost suicidal for your company not to pick it up.
