So is everyone pretty much over the idea that the Razorbacks are going to be a force in the SEC this year?

Definitely not in LSU or Auburn's league... but they still might be able to surprise someone... like Alabama next week.

i don't think anyone said they'd be a "force". I know i said that they could be a suprise team this year, and they could possibly finish 2nd in the West...with an out side shot at the west title with the showdown against LSU late in the season....that looks like a defenite no show now...but 2nd is still in the cards, but not likely.

the Bama game this weekend though is important for both teams, and honestly, i thimk Bama is catching ARk at the wrong time... they are reeling a bit, they are at home, and they are itching for a big win after beeing unimpressive thus far.

they'll likely lose to Auburn, but if they could beat Bama, they may have a shot at LSU...they always play them tough.

but in short, they are not as good as i had originally though they could be.

The distance between the two isn't that great. Alabama has only beaten Hawaii and Vanderbilt by a combined 11 points. I know they blew out Louisiana-Monroe, but I'd venture to say the top ten D-IAA teams in the country are all better than the whole Sun Belt.
