we will see, yes you could win but I think that we have a better chance of the win than LSU did

I think that Arkansas could be better than Cal considering the Cal team we played. I think that they have grown a lot through the season..both teams have. I wish I could say the same for UT...but because of some KEY injuries...we may have looked our best in the Cal game. I still think we can whoop those pigs though.

LSU has more weapons than Arky does. LSU's failing point this year has been keeping a handle on the ball and Arky is hot on their heels for that honor. The FG gods have been good to you this year. :eek:k:

Tell me please what those LSU weapons are? JM is not a very good QB but he can direct the game, so, we have two QB's that can do the same and They can't touch our running game, period. They ran it up on you and the D looked suspect against that run, Broussard and Hester are no where as good as D-Mac and Felix the Cat:p

While JR does turn it over too much, Ark's QB's cannot do everything he can, he has the best arm in football. LSU's receivers are more talented also. Arkansas does have LSU beat in the running game, with arguably the best RB in the country. On Defense no contest, LSU has a D chock full of NFL type speed and talent. But all of this doesn't really matter on Sat., what matters is how UT and Ark match up. Should be very interesting.

Arkansas fans are starting to sound pretty similar to Louisville's fans before last night's game against Rutgers.

If you think JM isn't a very good QB, then I don't know really what to say to you. Your QB's and receiver corps aren't near the same level as LSU's. Their defense is way better than yours. LSU is quite easily the most talented team in the SEC and to deny that fact just shows you need to take off the colored glasses and look at the stats. Like I said, LSU is where they are because they can't hold on to the ball, and it's a shame Miles wasted all that talent.

Our game will be a good one and will come down to your running game vs. our passing game. I only wish we had Harrell back on the line and I don't think this game would be even close because quite frankly, your passing game is the pits.

I'll reserve my ranking or Arkansas until after Saturday, but so far it goes LSU, UF, Cal in that order.

Russell is strong and athletic and capable of making a big play on any snap. He may not be the best quarterback we have faced, but he may be the most dangerous.

Who, by the way, is JM?

I'm not sure UT beats any of those teams without Ainge. Thats the proposition against Arkansas.

It doesn't look good. However, no one expected UT to beat Cal either, so lets see how Crompton does.

I'm not as nervous about replacing Ainge with Crompton - not saying JC is as good as EA, but am hoping/thinking that he will do fine. Biggest area of concern for me is no Justin Harrell - I think he was big difference maker in stopping Lynch in the Cal game. We will miss him for sure this Sat. I just hope our offense can keep AK offense on the bench!

hello this is my very first post on here...yes im a hog,but i come in peace. anyway both ark and tenn have an pretty equal chance onf winning this game. i really like crompton as your qb. i think he has a better chance right now to win the football game for ya than ainge. he really impressed me playing against such a good defense a LSU. but i think the edge will be akansas' because of the crowd. playing away when the two teams are pretty much even can be tough.

Crompton is a good quarterback and we are lucky to have such a good backup that could start at any time, but he does not give us a better chance than Ainge no matter who we are playing. Ainge is a guy that is at the top of the SEC and the top of the country in almost all passing categories, and the same guy that was being mentioned as a darkhorse heisman canidate just 3 weeks ago. A Crompton gives us a better chance than a gimpy Ainge, but I would take a healthy Ainge anyday...

With that said, I still think we have a good chance with Crompton and he is going to be a very good QB for us...

Glad to have ya on board Mr. zilla. While I agree an away crowd can be hostile, playing before 107,000 in Knoxville can surely get ya ready...

My post about JaMarcus being not that good a QB...

explination, Yes he is a better game director than dick or mustain, BUT that is because of experience not talent. He isn't all that good as a QB because he is more like MJ (Matt Jones) and his receivers make him look good. MJ was a great guy and I think he did a great job at UA as a QB but he was not that good a passer, JMR can throw the ball far...yes, however his throws are not always very good looking which makes it more difficult for the receivers and That is why i say that he is not all that good a QB.

JM is just a freak ( throws 50 yards on one knee) but that is all he can do, bomb away. His recievers make him look great. I agree
