Last season this game was a barnburner, ending in a final score of 70-56.

How many total points will we see tonight in this rematch?

Army fumbles at the Wake Forest 9 after a 6 play, 66-yard drive.

Wake Forest then goes 91 yards in 9 plays to make it 7-0 with 8:08 left in the first.

And Army’s returner loses the ball in the lights after calling a fair catch. He picks it up at his own 2 to try to return it, but by signaling earlier, the ball’s downed to start the drive at the Army 2.

Army goes for it on 4th and 1 from it’s own 11. The option keeper just gets the edge of the nose of the ball across the marker for the first down.

Punt goes off punter’s foot poorly. 5 plays and 56 yards later it’s 14-0 WF with 2:20 left in the 1st.

Army using ALOT of time on its possessions.

It might also be on either the ACC Network or ACC Network alternate channel? ESPN’s app lists it as streaming online via ESPN3.

It’s also on Bally.

ACC Network is something else and I don’t get Bally on Hulu Live, but that’s probably why it’s region locked.

Thank you though

Army trying to run a hurry up to get points in the before halftime but rather than spike the ball, he attempts an errant pass that’s intercepted with 4 seconds left in the half (they burned a lot of time between those plays).

21-0 Wake Forest at halftime.

Army really shooting themselves in the foot a lot with penalties, etc, in Wake Forest territory after moving downfield.

That was definitely targeting. Not going to get away with that when hitting a QB.

Not to mention another Army player throwing him down after the play ended for the late hit.

Edit: huh, they decided a helmet to helmet hit wasn’t targeting.

Wake Forest marches 75 yards down field in 6 plays and a minute and a half to start the second half and make it 28-0.

Army follows it up with a 12 play, 50 yard drive that lasted 6:42 only to stall at the Wake Forest 25 and end in a missed 42 yard FG attempt.

So Wake Forest takes 1:19 to run 4 plays to march 75 yards to make it 35-0 Wake Forest.

Army scores but this one was not even remotely close to last year’s game.

Final score: 45-10 Wake Forest
