Can anyone tell me why UGA fans are so arrogant?? I work with 4 or 5 guys, and they act like they are national champions. It has been getting worse every year, especially since Richt took over. I hope we crush them this weekend!!!

GO VOLS!!!!!

Probably because they've won 2 SEC titles recently and dominated the series with us since Richt took over.

Perceived arrogance is directly proportional to win totals.

Lets hope you pick up a little ammo this weekend.

You can also remind them of the all-time series record, number of national championships, and the 90's.

As a Vol living in dawgland, I can relate. Keep positive. If we play up, we can win. My arguement this week has been our offense clicking. They argue their defense. Valid points equally.

:td:

Dawg fans have reason to talk trash. Vols will put fight and think they will come out on top. You will watch them dawgs eat crow. Here's to hopin' the good play continues. I think it will.

You should have seen them in 04.

Walking around with 4 fingers in the air celebrating their little streak.

After the game, we dangled four fingers at them and taunted them all the way back to the state line.

LOL

It's FUN winning in Athens!

I'll be in Athens and I just hope that the majority of the fans are good losers as I will be sporting the orange and a big grin on my winning face afterwards.

GO VOLS! BEAT GEORGIA!

LOL They aren't.

That same game, we were leaving the stands cheering and I think we were yelling, "It sucks to be a Georgia Bull Dog" and this drunk girl slapped me in the back. I turned around and her little Tennessee fan boyfriend was jerking a knot in her ass.

I wouldn't know, I've never met an extremely arrogant Georgia fan. Maybe I have and their level of arrogance just doesn't compare to that of Florida fans, not sure.

I can't imagine why she got mad.

If it makes any difference, I've seen more UT fans in the outlying areas of Athens these past two months than I've seen anywhere outside of Knoxville. I live 20 minutes away from Athens and you'd be surprised by the orange I've seen being worn and seen on cars of late. I just hope that even more orange comes out Saturday night after a win by UT.

Yeah, but there is a difference in being mad and physically hitting someone.

Speaking of, you're a Vol fan in Georgia...... GAVol, was that YOU!?

the little kids running around had 5 times in a row t-shirts on already and i even had one kid, about 12 or so, tell me to go ---- myself. i have never heard fans say some of the things they said to us before that game. i realize there are bad fans everywhere but UGA fans are the worst.

what makes 04 even sweeter was the fact that they thought it was THEIR year to win it all. every halfway reasonable fan i talked to told me they were going to win it all that year.

i have some pictures of me, friends and the bulldogs they have all over town in my room right now. some appropriate, some not, so i'll refrain from posting them around here. use your imagination.

so much fun to win there. i wish i could be there again Saturday.

Sounds like you are a real class act. Thanks for bringing down the image of UT fans.

I took my mom to the game in Athens in 2002. It was the worst experience I have ever had at a college sporting event. The fans, especially the students, were horrible to us and the other Tennessee fans in our section. Getting out of the stadium was equally as terrible with many of the students insulting both me and my mother. Never in my life have I wanted to punch anyone like I did that day. I will never go to another game there, and I encourage anyone else going this weekend to reconsider. They definitely have my vote for worst fans. Auburn fans would get my vote for most friendly.

i have always said UGA and Florida fans are in a close race for worse fans in the conference. even some UGA fans i know will tell you that going to Athens is not pleasant for opposing fans. can't they A-bomb the Cocktail Party one of these years and do us all a favor?

In Gainesville I got in three fights in 2 days, In Athens I had a 5ft, 140 pound little guy get in my face and run his mouth, of course he had about 10 other guys with him, so I had to just walk off. I think I got the sweetest revenge however as a frat bro and I went to a bar and took to UGA girls back to the hotel. I will say this, UGA has plenty of super fine hotties.

We have the same types of fans.
HUGE difference. Come to a game in Knoxville and you'll be fawned over, complimented, and shown big-time hospitality. Athens is not pleasant....I've been to almost all and nothing compares.
