It seems like the NC QB always gets drafted even if he doesn't have a lot of promise. Chris Leak was an exception. He'll probably go late on the second day, but I doubt he'll ever do anything outside of the preseason.

Peyton Manning didn't get a National Championship. I suppose the Colts better get ready to draft a new QB. If we'd decided to give 2-loss teams a shot at the title back in 2001, then Clausen would have had his chance at the ultimate prize, as well. Clausen's junior and senior seasons were spent throwing to a WR corps about 1/3 as talented as Flynn enjoyed his entire career. And yet...

Flynn's career: 3096

As for Jamarcus Russell, Casey threw for more yards than he did, as well.

Casey Clausen threw for 300 yards in the SEC Championship. What did Matt Flynn do? Sit on the bench.
