Very simply he has won nothing at a major school and is being asked to win a NC in his first year.

You can say whatever you want about Florida would just like an SECC or East Title but being Top 5 or Top 10 is a NC year....not just an East Title year.

Meyer is the most over-rated coach in the last 10 years that I can think of outside of Donnan at UGA.

Won nothing but ESPN and others act as if he is a god of some sorts.

He is putting chains on his players&#33; He is making them run....sprints&#33;&#33;&#33;&#33;&#33;&#33;&#33; He is...oh my god...YELLING AT THEM&#33;

noone can be overrated if theyve been VERY successful at previous stops <_< , now i think the term your looking for is overhyped, in which that time will tell

but compared to what UF had, Meyer is a big upgrade, its a shame you dont understand that :shakehead:

I am not sure where you get that ridiculous idea other then not having anything else to say.

When Richt went to UGA, I heard some news but nothing compared to this media-blitz of crap about Meyer.

When Saban was hired at LSU, same thing.

Hell, what the hell have you heard about LSU and they have won 2 SEC Titles and a NC lately....

Meyer is being too over-hyped.

It&#39;s a shame you can&#39;t understand that quite easy concept

time will tell if he was over hyped, now hes won 50% of the COY awards in the past 4 years, no other coach can say that, hes big news, and UF is stoked that hes here....but cmon, its the offseason, what else are they gonna talk about?

there hasnt even been that many articles on him, lots in the state of FL, but thats to be expected....he got a SC special, and thats about it on the ntl scale...maybe a few articles in the wash. post or some other big newspaper, but so far, its not like hes hogging the press, there hasnt been thaaaaaaaat much coverage of him

Maybe it&#39;s just me. ESPN Insider mentions him a lot. But my point still remains the same that Steve-O and Urban are recieving a tremendous amount of press.
