Loving all the positive press. Can't wait to see how things go over the next few months leading up to the season opener.

I love the way our recruiting class has been recruiting! We have some great leaders coming on. They are bringing pride and swag back to Rocky Top!

Even though NSD is ages away, I am loving the positive momentum. I am proud to have a Football Coach, not a Lawyer/Administrator, bringing our team into "The House That Neyland Built". I love that we have a coach who makes players aware of the LONG and storied histories and traditions of Tennessee Football...and preaches to them that wearing the Power T is an honor, privilege, and makes them accountable to the past AND the future VOLS!!!

With this said, I TRULY believe that one of our greatest recruiting advantages came when Sal uttered the words..."I'm taking my talents to North Florida"... : )

One of the commenters on the article tried to suggest that since Kiffin and Dooley couldn't coach their talent to win, neither would Jones. But Jones is not only recruiting better, he also has a record at two different schools of being able to coach winning football.

Now, as long as Brian Kelly doesn't leave Notre Dame and Jones decide to succeed him at a third school, I think we'll be fine.

From 1983- 1992, I was overseas in the Marine Corps and I saw only one U.T. game that entire time. The game that I saw was the Sugar Bowl. However; in 2003, I bought the U.T. C.D. that featured the Greatest Plays in U.T. football.

There was a bone jarring hit from a d.b. named Andrea Creamer. I am guessing that that is his father. Also, my son played football at Hillwood High School, in Nashville, in the mid 2000's, and Moses Phillips was on the coaching staff at that time. I distinctly remember meeting Andrea Creamer at that time also.

So, I don't remember him when he actually wore the U.T. uniform but I did meet him once and saw him on the highlight video.
